On the morning of April 2, with the roar of the pipe jacking machine "Zhengxian", the pipe jacking engineering section of Huanggang city underground comprehensive pipe gallery designed by the Municipal General Institute was officially opened. The total construction mileage of the project is 33.92 km, of which the pipe jacking method is used for 20.6 km, which is the longest comprehensive pipe gallery project in China.

The total length of the comprehensive pipe gallery section of Xingang North Road is about 620m. The designed inner diameter of pipe jacking is 3.5m and the outer diameter is 4.14M. It is a large-diameter reinforced concrete trenchless pipe jacking project. It undertakes the important task of first trial and experience accumulation for the pipe jacking construction of Huanggang comprehensive pipe Gallery.

Through careful design and adjusting measures to local conditions, the general hospital took the lead in putting forward the trenchless construction design scheme in Huanggang urban area pipe gallery construction, effectively solving the construction problems of urban pipe gallery.
