Unit 1 of Taishan Nuclear Power Grid connected

Recently, the EPR No. 1 unit of the world's first Taishan Nuclear Power Plant co-constructed by China Construction Power Corporation was successfully connected to the grid for the first time, becoming the world's first EPR 3G nuclear power plant connected to the grid. Construction of Taishan Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1 began in 2009 and unit 2 in 2010. China construction power has undertaken the nuclear island of Unit 2 and the Conventional Island and Bop civil engineering of units 1 and 2. Using the EPR III nuclear power technology, the Taishan Nuclear Power Plant is not only the largest energy cooperation project between China and France, but also the construction of two 1.75 MW PWR nuclear power units, it is also the first EPR nuclear power project in China and the largest single unit nuclear power project in the world.
