Construction of Tianjin Metro Line 7 commenced

On July 12, the commencement ceremony of PPP project of Tianjin Metro Line 7 phase I project invested and operated by CSCEC was held in Tianjin. Sun Wenkui, deputy mayor of Tianjin, and Zhou Yong, member of the Party group and deputy general manager of CSCEC, attended the event. Xu Jun, Deputy Secretary General of Tianjin municipal government, presided over the event.

Sun Wenkui said in his speech that the construction of Tianjin Metro Line 7 will further optimize the urban spatial structure and industrial layout, and promote the coordinated development of regional economy. The relevant departments of the municipal government and the local government departments must closely cooperate and strengthen coordination to provide all-round services for the project construction, so as to build Tianjin Metro Line 7 into a high-quality project, a sunshine project and a livelihood project that can stand the test.

Zhou Yong said in the event that CSCEC will give full play to the advantages of the whole industrial chain of investment, construction and operation, further expand its investment in Tianjin in rail transit construction, Station City integrated development and other fields under the guidance of Beijing Tianjin Hebei coordinated development strategy, innovate win-win mode, share development opportunities, and make greater contributions to Tianjin construction.

According to the relevant person in charge of CSCEC foundation, all construction units of CSCEC will uphold a highly responsible attitude, carry forward the spirit of hard work and tenacious struggle, complete all tasks of engineering construction with high standards and high quality, and strive to build Tianjin Metro Line 7 into a first-class high-quality project and model project.

The ceremony was attended by the general office of Tianjin municipal government, Xiqing District government, housing and Urban Rural Development Commission, rail transit group, China construction foundation, first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and underground space companies.

Tianjin Metro Line 7 phase I project is the first subway line project implemented by PPP mode in Tianjin, with a construction period of 4.5 years and an operation period of 21.5 years. The total length of the main line of the project is about 26.525km, with 21 stations in total. The 6A marshalling train operation line with the largest width and the largest passenger capacity is adopted. After the completion and operation, the traffic tension in the urban core area can be effectively alleviated, the level of urban public transport can be significantly improved, and the development of cultural education, economic and trade undertakings along the line will be promoted.

CSCEC has always adhered to the high position, committed to serving the major national strategic arrangements, and playing a leading role in the field of infrastructure business. On May 29, CSCEC foundation, under the leadership of CSCEC, gathered the advantageous resources in the system, and made efforts to build an infrastructure competition consortium and development community. It joined 10 secondary units in the group and won the bid for Tianjin Metro Line 7 project in the form of a consortium.

On June 3, a cooperation agreement signing ceremony was held in Tianjin for PPP project of Tianjin Metro Line 7 phase I project. Sun Wenkui, deputy mayor of Tianjin, and Ma Zeping, member of the Party group and deputy general manager of CSCEC, attended the signing ceremony. This is another major breakthrough in the field of Tianjin Rail Transit after CSCEC undertook to build Metro Line 6, creating a new pattern of CSCEC in the infrastructure market of Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei.
