On April 24, Yi Jun, Vice Minister of the Ministry of housing and urban rural development and a member of the Party group, went to investigate the underground utility tunnel PPP project of Shihezi City undertaken by CSCEC Xinjiang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd. Zhang Yong, member of the Standing Committee of the Party committee and deputy commander of the Xinjiang production and Construction Corps, and Dong Yifeng, Secretary of Shihezi municipal Party committee and political commissar of the eighth division, accompanied the investigation.

Yi Jun visited the project exhibition area and understood the progress of the project. In the underground pipe gallery of Dongwu Road, Yi Jun inspected the overall planning and construction quality of the project, affirmed the construction achievements of the project, and put forward guiding suggestions for the next work. Yi Jun pointed out that all participating units should conscientiously implement the general secretary Xi Jinping's strategy of governing the territory, focusing on the general goal of social stability and long period of stability in Xinjiang, and strengthening the construction of comprehensive corridors, bringing benefits to the people of Xinjiang, and strictly building safety and quality control, and building safety projects and standard posts.

Shihezi underground utility tunnel PPP project is located in Shihezi Economic Development Zone, with a total length of about 30.41 km and distributed on 17 roads. It is the first PPP project of underground utility tunnel in Xinjiang. (contributed by CSCEC Xinjiang Construction Engineering Co., Ltd.)
