China State Construction won the bid for the PPP project of Tianjin Metro Line 7 Phase I

Recently, the consortium of CSCEC won the bid for the PPP project of Tianjin Metro Line 7 phase I project. The estimated total investment of the project is 26.897 billion yuan, of which the PPP project investment is about 19.681 billion yuan. This is the first subway line project implemented in the PPP mode in Tianjin. After completion, it will ease the traffic tension in Tianjin's urban core area, improve urban public passenger transport and drive the development along the line.

The project starts from Saida No.8 Branch Road Station in Xiqing District in the South and ends at Yuguan Road Station in Hebei District in the north. It is a filling line of the north-south trunk line in the central urban area of Tianjin, with a total length of 26.53 km. There are 21 underground stations, 1 new Dasi Depot and 1 new liulitai main substation. The planned construction period is 4.5 years and the operation period is 21.5 years. The project has the following characteristics:

There are many continuous transfer stations. Tianjin Metro Line 7 project, through the north and south of Tianjin, plans 8 consecutive transfer stations in the central urban area to connect all subway lines in Tianjin. After completion, it will effectively form the urban rail transit network in Tianjin.

There are many passengers. Tianjin Metro Line 7 project is the first 6A marshalling train with the largest width and the largest passenger capacity in Tianjin Central urban area. After the completion of the subway line, it will become the subway line with the largest number of passengers in Tianjin Central City, effectively relieving the traffic pressure of "the most congested area" in Tianjin urban area.

The construction is difficult. Tianjin Metro Line 7 project runs through the core area of Tianjin, which is the first underground construction line in Tianjin. In addition, Tianjin, as a coastal city, has special geological conditions, thus creating a precedent for CSCEC to undertake the whole subway line in water rich soft soil geology.

The construction team is strong. The project is led by CSCEC foundation, and jointly invested and constructed by China Construction Fund, China Construction First Bureau, China Construction Second Bureau, China Construction Third Bureau, China Construction Fourth Bureau, China Construction Fifth Bureau, China Construction Sixth Bureau, China Construction Seventh Bureau, China Construction Eighth Bureau, China Construction underground space, China construction installation and other units jointly participate in the investment and construction, to ensure the smooth construction of Tianjin subway.
