The third phase of Chengdu Rail Transit Line 6 is fully open

Recently, the third phase of Chengdu rail transit line 6 has been opened to the whole line, and the project will be fully transferred to the stage of track laying, decoration and mechanical and electrical equipment installation.

The third phase project of Chengdu rail transit line 6 is the first metro line of the whole line won by China Construction Third Bureau in the name of China Construction Co., Ltd., with a total length of 23.37 km and a total investment of 16.5 billion yuan. The line is the "backbone line" of Tianfu new area, a national new area in Sichuan Province, which is of great significance to accelerating the network formation of Chengdu rail transit and practicing the "South expansion".

The gas section of the third phase project of line 6 accounts for nearly 50%, with high safety risk and difficult implementation. Therefore, China Construction Third Engineering Bureau reasonably plans the tunnel distribution of shield method, open cut method and mining method construction, and creates special gas prevention and control design for shield machine, so as to effectively prevent risks while rapid tunneling. Yuyuzui Huilong station is the longest shield section of the project, and it needs to cross Fuhe River, the widest river in Chengdu. The length of the underpass is 221 meters, and the shortest vertical distance between the top of the tunnel and the river bottom is only 7.6 meters. For this reason, China Construction Third Engineering Bureau has completed the special construction scheme three months in advance, repeated scientific demonstration and simulation deduction, and made great efforts to "embroider" the shield machine, the "underground giant".

While promoting the project construction with high quality and efficiency, the Third Bureau of China construction pays attention to the precipitation of experience and refining of achievements. Since its commencement in 2017, 13 scientific and technological achievements of line 6 phase III project have been authorized by national patents, 5 construction methods have been awarded provincial construction methods in Sichuan Province, 6 scientific and technological papers have been published, 2 papers have been awarded excellent academic papers in natural science of Hubei provincial highway society, 4 awards have been won in national, provincial and ministerial level technical competitions, and 2 rail transit technical standards in Sichuan Province have been invited to participate.
